My students come from the heart of Des Moines, Iowa. They come to school to feel loved and to become the best person they can be. I can’t control what goes on outside of the school’s walls but I can control what goes on inside my classroom. With a breakout box, NGSS books and an iPad, each student will have a fun opportunity to learn and grow. We can’t continue to teach how we used to in the past; it’s the future and it’s time for change. These new materials will give them the challenge they need to be engaged and responsible for their learning. Having a breakout box let’s me turn learning into a challenging game. There are six seperate locks that need to be decoded, using the science materials I provide them with. I’ve seen this done in another classroom and every student was engaged. When students are engaged, they are learning at their full potential. That’s the kind of learning they deserve! Thank you for helping!
