We are an PK- 8th grade school with students of diverse backgrounds and needs. Many of my students have never even left our town and are lacking in life experiences. With the rigor of state assessments, it is crucial to build this background knowledge. At the same time, I have students that are complete opposite. They have incredible parental support, many learning opportunities, and need to have the curriculum accelerated and enriched.
