The students in my school are faced with many challenges. Some students come from homes with parents that are involved with their child's academic progress. However, most students in my school come from broken homes and their parents, if they even live with their parents, are not really involved with their child's academics. This makes it so some students are prepared for school, whereas most students come to school not prepared. Our school is located in a low income community, where many of the students do not have any form of technology in their homes. My school is a title one school with 86% of the students on free and reduced lunches. My school and our teachers do as much as they can for the students, but we need as much help as we can possibly get.
