My students just need a boost to help them become more consistently successful readers. Sometimes this boost is needed in all areas of reading and sometimes not. Many of my students need to focus on becoming readers that sound more fluent when they read aloud, which means that they sound natural and are interesting to listen to. Actually, utilizing microphones and speakers would not only make performing Reader's Theater more fun for students and teacher alike, but they would also amplify the words in order for students to better self-evaluate when their reading performance is on point or needs improvement. Thus, taking ownership of their own learning and enjoy doing it! Wouldn't you get better at something if you could have a good time while practicing that skill? We could even take our practice on the road and perform for other classrooms or adults. We are excited to begin this journey together to improve our skills, empower ourselves, and find our hidden talents!

About my class
