My school is located in a low-income rural area in which over 80% of students are on free or reduced lunch. Our area is known for the many dairy farms and a lot of the parents of our students work on these farms. Many parents are not educated but want the best for their children. My school provides a positive and family-like environment for these students. My Principal's philosophy is "Be the kind of teacher that you would want your child to have." It is our position that we are to educate the whole child- academically, socially, and emotionally.
