My school is a Title I school. This means that the majority of my students live near or below the poverty line. We are lucky that our school district provides Chromebooks for our students to use, however they often cannot get the full use of the digital resources because of not having a way to listen/hear these resources. Many parents do the best they can to provide earbuds for their students, but earbuds are easily lost or broken and are not hygienic to share. To be able to have high-quality headphones that are easily cleaned for the next class would make such a difference in my classroom. Headphones seem like a small thing, but imagine a class where students could watch a skill video I created if they get stuck while I am helping another student. Students could hear the tutorials associated with their reading intervention programs instead of just clicking through them. The list goes on and on. Thank you for considering my project. My students deserve the best.
