My students love reading through various types of formats. One that I believe that is important to continue in our society is that of magazine and journal reading. Scholastic News is a great stepping stone into beginning a lifetime of reading this way. My 3rd graders are ready and eager for longer, more informative and complex text. And what better way than through a subscription through Scholastic News. With all the various resources available with the subscription, my students will indeed enjoy reading and learning with Scholastic News! We will use the magazines during our core reading block, social studies time, and for homework as well. My students will also have access to the online subscription at school and at home.
