Thank you for stopping by my page! I am a second grade teacher in the Brentwood School District. As a graduate of the same community, I am dedicated to making sure my students have all they need to succeed in second grade and beyond! One of my major focuses is reading. Many of my students are English Language Learners with Spanish as their native language. Most enter second grade with a love for reading and learning. Some continue to fall below the expected reading level for the start of second grade. Through my projects, I hope to continue to foster a love for reading, help close the gap and exceed grade level expectations!
