I have created this project to support our classroom library. I believe in sparking a love for reading by providing engaging titles and series for ALL readers in my classroom, regardless of level. As a teacher, I believe it is important for me to be able to use literature to teach the many aspects of life to my students. Whether it be social-emotional learning, celebrating diversity/differences, navigating through hard times, dealing with a bully, learning about Space and planets... books can open the door to so many conversations that need to happen in the classroom. Books give a voice! Books can create the most meaningful, teachable moments if we let them. It is important to have a classroom library crafted with intent and purpose.

About my class
