Covid has vastly changed the way we run our classrooms. It is no longer a possibility to have parent volunteers in the same capacity as before. I desperately want to give these children a solid platform from which to leap into school success. That means I need to differentiate and meet kids where they are. A Chromebook center will help me develop a center rotation that allows each student to work on individual targeted skills, engage in virtual field trips, and build their 21-century skills. Using Chromebooks will allow me to assign specific, targeted, and meaningful work while I take small reading groups.
