Technology is extremely useful in the classroom. Students who have access to technology and know how to use it can increase their value on the job market. Each student having access to an iPad in the classroom will open many doors for the Life Skills students. They will be given access to thousands of books that can help improve their reading, fluency and comprehension, skills. Apps for the iPad can give the students a chance to find coupons for groceries or other things the students will need to purchase. The students will be able to find and use apps that will make their educational journey a fun experience. They can even practice using apps that will help them after school, such as a check register app.
