I am a librarian at two elementary schools teaching students to be lifelong learners and readers. I want students to know how to find the information they want or need and enjoy the process of learning. I promote reading through book clubs, reading challenges, and this year a Book Battle competition. I also encourage learning through hands-on activities that excite students into building, creating, collaborating, and succeeding in project based learning.
