I am a Student Support Teacher. I teach reading intervention to small groups of students in grades K- 8. I love my job, and I adore the kids I serve. My students are diverse in age, ability, language, and culture, but at their core, they are very similar. They are children, with good intentions, strong opinions and community ties, an abundance of energy and potential, and a serious lack of resources, confidence, and experiences. They have dreams and goals that include learning to be better readers, becoming school leaders, and going to college. My dreams for them are the same, and that's why I need your help.
