With standardized testing now online, and an inevitable tech-filled life ahead of them, kids need confidence and familiarity with technology. Chromebooks will allow my students more opportunities to create, explore, and become independent learners. Your generous donation to our project will improve my kindergarteners skills in all academic areas. Kindergarten students have notoriously short attention spans, however, their interest is sparked by technology. These Chromebooks will allow my students to extend their understanding. A colorful, animated screen captures their attention visually, keeping them interested for longer periods of time. Having choice in the programs they select for practice makes kindergartners feel empowered and encourages them to work independently --- while they are having fun!
