My students are amazing middle school learners! They have huge hearts and the desire to learn and help others. My students are resilient individuals with Autism and other exceptionalities. As part of their school day the students learn social and life skills. This project will allow the students to open a clothing closet for their peers. We have named it the Panther Closet! All students in the school can utilize the closet when they need clothing for school and or for home. The students will use these materials from this donation to create a Panther Closet ( Store Front). Even though the clothing will be given to their peers for free, the students will organize the clothing as if it were in a retail shop. They will learn to sort, fold, size, and hang the clothing. This project will provide the students with a sense of community as they help their peers. It will also allow them to learn valuable life skills that will transfer into a how the function at home and in future careers.
