The book "The Education of Little Tree" will be used in our Native Perspectives class for a book study. Students will each be able to have a copy to follow along for class readings as well as use for reference in their report projects. Currently, we have one book that I use to read aloud for this project, and students who struggle as auditory learners have a hard time following with the story. With this class set of books, students will be able to read on their own and follow along with class readings as they need. This project would greatly help students increase their understanding and expand the possibilities of a further connection to the literature. Each student having a copy of this book would allow for more detailed options in lessons and writings for this project. Students can use the text for reference as well as better understanding of the readings.
