When students have options for flexible seating, it increases their motivation and engagement. This optimal learning environment will support positive learning spaces where our students grow academically, as well as social-emotionally. It makes learning an enjoyable experience for all. Additionally, it provides my learners with movement breaks! Giving students choices about where they want to work allows them to take on more ownership of their work! My students will be able to explore their new learning in a safe space. Students will utilize flexible seating while working independently and/or in small groups. This will empower my students to do their very best. Students will work on creative projects in addition to reading, writing and math. Flexible seating will encourage positive peer relationships and strengthen my students critical thinking skills!
