Students in my special education program and my special education classroom are a diverse group of individuals. Each of them brings a different life story to the table. They are all connected, however, with the desire to improve a learn despite their deficiencies or disabilities. Some of these students hail from households in which purchasing school supplies or saving the money for supplies is a difficult task. Because of the determination of my students, I am dedicating to ensuring they possess the supplies to feel successful in my classroom. Fulfilling that promise on my own salary is a difficult task. The supplies that are included on this list are basic essential classroom supplies. These supplies will help us to complete daily requirements including math. A significant requirement are scientific calculators that students require to complete courses such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Algebra II. Our students struggle to provide such supplies, but desire to learn the material. Any assistance provided to they may achieve their goals despite adversity is greatly appreciated.
