This technology will be a tremendous asset to our class. We currently have to share one class set of laptops with the entire school, so technology time in our classroom is extremely rare. I truly enjoy creating lessons based on the use of technology, however, I am limited due to the lack of laptops available to us. When I am teaching a lesson on the SmartBoard, with all of the visual and auditory effects, I just see the eyes of my students light up. They are so engaged in the technological aspect of it. I would love nothing more than to see that twinkle in their eyes while they are able to take the technology back with them to their desks and have the opportunity to work on their own in all subject areas...being engaged, just learning. We have 28 students, so these Chromebooks would be perfect. We could have some of our class engaged with technology and then be able to switch. My students also love to work together and learn from each other, so they could collaborate on one laptop. These would make such a difference in our education!
