We have all been impacted by the recent pandemic in a variety of ways. I am grateful for the opportunity to be in my classroom with children everyday as we try to manage a new normal. I want to bring some understanding and a sense of belonging to the students in my class. One of the greatest struggles my students have are with social emotional skill of dealing with difficult problems and staying focused. I want to use these products to help my students have opportunities to figure out how to appropriately express their feelings. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to provide them with choice to control their environment. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more! I have also selected some items to help those students who get really frustrated to take a break and gain their sense of security so they can be ready to learn. I want my students to be in an environment where they can feel safe and secure so they can thrive and grow academically, but also in their social emotional skills.
