Transitional Kindergarten is where students' love of learning truly begins. I have high expectations for all my TK'rs, and challenge them every day to do their personal best, and to come to an understanding that all of what we do each day is to help each one of them to become lifelong learners. My TK'rs, as I call my students, are a high-energy group of four year olds that will turn five between September and December. This is the first TK class at Maeola Beitzel, which is a very culturally diverse school site, with many students on free or reduced meal plans.
