These materials make a huge difference in the lives of students who struggle keeping still and focusing in order to learn in a whole group setting. These items are desperately needed in our room. Sometimes learning requires students to sit for long periods in order to learn specific skills through teacher demonstration. It makes sitting very difficult for some students who are not developmentally able to yet. I have seen these chairs in other classrooms over the years and I know how helpful they are. I’m requesting Howda Hug chairs and floor cushions with handles to make students focus during mini lessons while sitting on carpet. Please consider donating them to our room, they are desperately needed. We thank you for any help you can offer!
