Remember SCOPE/Scholastic Magazine from when you were in school? They made reading interesting and fun! The seventh graders at my school are a diverse and caring group of students. They are in school everyday and ready to learn. Using SCOPE magazine as a teaching tool would help their literacy skills, especially analysis of nonfiction material. These students are in an urban Pennsylvania school district.
