Students will participate in center-based learning. A hands-on approach to learning will improve their attention span, relationships, and increase their academic knowledge. The materials you purchase will assist students in all academic areas. Your donations will help students build relationships, develop motor skills, and improve academic understanding, all at the same time! The materials will be used to create learning centers that are interactive. Students will use the Play Doh to make letters and words. Students will learn to count and add using Play Doh. Play Doh is an all-purpose tool that assists student learning in all academic areas. The Deluxe Lacing Sneaker, I Can Tie My Own Shoelaces, and Red Lace, Yellow Lace are different options students will have to learn to tie their shoes. Learning to tie their shoes helps to develop independence and fine motor skills. Development of fine motor skills is the foundation of writing. Improving students' fine motor skills helps to improve student writing. Students will use various hole punchers to develop fine motor skills, punch out letters and words, and to count. Hole punchers are another variable tool designed to be used in all academic areas. Punching out letters and words helps students to recognize and remember the words. Students will generate counting books by punching holes in paper. Centers are designed to be interactive learning. Young students who are given interactive learning time are less likely to have behavioral issues. All materials will be used to assist student learning in an interactive and fun way.
