I get the opportunity every day to teach fourth grade students at an inner city school in Canton, Ohio. Here I get to teach children how to read, write, and many more skills they need for the 21st century. However, where I teach I am helping my students to over come obstacles that make it difficult for them to learn.Students come to school needing to feel safe, challenged academically, be healthy, feel supported and actively apart of the learning process. It is my goal to help my students become the best that they can be and inspire them to learn. The children that I am working with will be leading our future. I can't imagine a more powerful way to impact the future than teaching.

About my class
