"A child who reads will be an adult that thinks." Reading is more than sounding out the words. Reading is about understanding and comprehension. These books will help young readers start at the foundation of independently sounding out words. However, they will also be used in classroom discussions to help the student think about the book as well. With this amazing classroom library, I plan to help every child build upon their understanding of the story, their life, and the world around us. This library contains books for holidays, science, social studies, social-emotional learning, and more. Most importantly, the way these books will be utilized will foster a love for reading and learning.
