Scholastic News is a complete print and online teaching supplement that helps teachers meet Common Core Standards for first grade. My students will be able to read nonfiction material in print or on an iPad that will increase their content area knowledge. This nonfiction material is at their grade level! They will see real photographs, diagrams and graphs that share information about many different topics. The online supplement includes videos to enhance their learning of each topic that is covered in the different magazines. In the end, my students will be knowledgeable about many different things in their little world!
