Welcome to our classroom! The days of teacher lectures and students sitting in rows are over. In our room, students are up moving, exploring, questioning, discovering, and creating while learning. Students are encouraged to explore standards and dig deeper into concepts using real life activities. When we learn about measurement, we cook, build a birdhouse, and plant flowers. Students learn to question why, not just memorize a "rule". I work hard to challenge them daily. It is amazing what they discover and create when they are provided with the freedom to explore and participate in their learning. I am honored to be a small part of creating life long learners.
