As an Itinerant (traveling) Elementary School Counselor, I spend a great deal of time in meetings with parents, teachers and administrators. When I am not in meetings or working with student records, I teach Developmental Guidance Classes. During a school year I will teach every group of students in the school. While students are in my classroom, their teachers take their 40 minute planning time. I serve grades Prek through 5. My room is a mixture of leftover materials and furniture from other classrooms. I teach the West Virginia Student Success Standards. I am turning to Donor's Choose to purchase a social/emotional curriculum for my classroom.
