I have 27 incredibly inquisitive second grade students. Our building has a high number of at-risk students. Many come from single family homes and/or one income homes. I have academic ranges from ending kindergarten level all the way up to fourth grade level. I have 4 different languages represented in my classroom this year as well. This makes it more challenging trying to meet all students' needs. Family support is not always available for many of them; their families are trying to survive in the economy of today.
