I am a Title I Interventionist at a Kindergarten through 4th grade elementary school with over 90% of our students living in poverty. However, our school is truly one-of-a-kind. The students are eager to learn, kind to one another, and ooze happiness! Each day I work with the lowest performing students in our building. Yet, they come to me with a level of excitement that is palpable. They love reading new books, exploring math problems, and even love having the opportunity to write. I'm lucky to be a part of their journey, and my goal is to break the cycle of poverty in their lives.

About my class
