Everywhere you turn, teachers are raving about flexible seating. It's something that I've wanted to implement for some time, but I wasn't sure where to start. This summer I've spent countless hours painting, crafting and creating alternative seating for my newest group of 4th graders. As excited as I am about our flexible seating, the drawback is that we have cold tile floors and in the middle of a Minnesota winter that's the last place that I'd expect students to want to sit. Hence the reason why I'm asking for help to buy a large area rug where we can have whole group learning time and the students can also choose to sit/lay on the rug during independent learning time. The other supply we are in need of is an organizational system to store each students' belongings in since they will no longer have desks to store their belongings in. Thank you so much for reading about our flexible seating adventure!! We hope
