The Kindergarteners in my class are creative, free-thinking students who will be learning in a project based environment. With a school wide focus on STEAM, all of my students will be fostering their engineering, mathematical and artistic skills throughout the day and across all curriculum areas. All of my students will be encouraged to take control of their own learning as they gain new insights from their experiences at school and from the world around them. Technology can be a real motivator for students and augmented reality takes technology to a new level of engagement. This type of interaction will create opportunities for my students to work together regardless of learning style or ability. For English Language Learners, this technology provides a safe and compelling opportunity to practice letters and sounds in a fun way.
