These stools would allow my students to have different seating options. During writing and reading, middle schoolers prefer to move and not just sit at their desk. With these stools, my students can move around while working and not disturbing others. Aside from the general education students, this will also benefit students in Special Education who need a break or focus more when they can move. My blocks are about 83 minutes long, so many students struggle to read, write, listen, and stay focused in class for that long. I would like to give my students some choice in where they sit to allow for a more conducive working environment. Students should be excited to come to class and not dreading it. These stools will go a long way to help with this.
