Having an area that is specifically designed for the classroom will help shape our learning throughout the day. We have had some beautiful, yet impractical rugs in our meeting area. This has been distracting because the the students do not have a clearly defined area and they tend to pick at the loose strings. If the students had a colored square of their own, they would not be in someone else's learning bubble. This space will increase the amount of discussion and participation throughout the day. The students in my class would be ever so grateful for this generous donation.
