In the information age we live in, students must harness the ability to locate, sort through, and analyze information more than ever for deeper understanding and learning of the common core. The media center continues to be the hub of best practices in information literacy. Unity Grove Elementary School is revamping the way we educate students by creating a PBL environment where student choice, project development, and personalized learning take students to new levels of critical thinking. Join me in my efforts to create spaces and places that will engage our students to venture outside of the box with new programs taking them far beyond the cinder block walls of our school building. As we change and add new programs, we hope to inspire students in creativity and critical thinking for a brighter future.
