In the classroom there are 4th to 8th grade students who need special education services in the reading area. When you look at it literacy is the foundation of every subject. These students are either behind in basic reading, fluency, literacy, comprehension. My project is get some assistive manipulatives for reading for the classroom. This includes fluncy, basic reading skill games, and comprehension projects for the grades that are needed. With this being a special education room the students do get over stimulated, and stressed, so I am wanting to purchase a few items to have in a calming area for those students. A rug, bean bag, and fidgets, all these items help students calm down. I ask that if you are able to help at all please help this classroom. Thank you for all the help you do, if not my classroom but others you do fund.
