This library would be a blessing. I chose this specific Upper Level Library because I service gifted students in my general education classroom. It is difficult to find literature on their lexile level that is age appropriate material. These gifted students need to be exposed to literature that will continue to challenge them and help them to grow in their reading, vocabulary, and writing. It is very hard to find literature for a 4th grader that is reading at an 8th grade level. The content is often too mature for my young students. This library will not only help the gifted students, but also the general education students later in the year.
