With flexible seating I will be able to use them in small groups to engage students as they interact with their peers collaborating in learning. Students will be able to get out and move around to another seat, allowing them to have choices in where they want to sit. Giving students choices empowers them and lets them take ownership of their own tasks, knowing that they have a choice in the classroom. Flexible seating also allows for students to be in charge of their on task behavior, they get to choose their seats therefore, they are more motivated to stay on task.

About my class
