Providing six wobble chairs will not only assist in creating a more flexible learning environment for all my students, but it will also increase the level of engagement in many learning scenarios throughout our school day. When students are uncomfortable, they are distracted and unproductive. Flexible seating would allow students to find comfortable positions throughout our classroom. Studies show that comfortable students are more calm, focused, and productive. In turn, this welcomes students into our room in a more positive manner, which will help in creating an inclusive, needs-being-met, type of classroom environment. Providing these six wobble chairs will also help improve my students' needs for movement. The chairs will supply an added time for movement, an increase in productivity, and they will act as an emotional outlet in certain learning situations.
