After starting the school year with distance learning for the first week, I've realized just how incredibly difficult it is to teach Language Arts and Social Studies to 4th grade students remotely with a standalone laptop. My number one challenge was the agony of trying to annotate through the use of my laptop's trackpad to 4th grade students during our Zoom lesson. It was a very slow process and hard to control. This project is especially important to help me teach my students because it allows me to write using a stylus on the mirrored screen quickly and accurately. The device will help me to keep students engaged throughout the lesson, and will enable me to provide my students a quality lesson that they deserve.
