All of the students in my classroom are diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Some students use pictures for communication and some use visuals to help support them as they learn and transition through their day. We are a special education program classroom in an elementary school. My students use personalized materials in our classroom and as they are working along side their typical peers when they are mainstreamed in a general education classroom. Having durable materials for learning and communication makes their day more successful.
