Throughout our day, we gather in a central space for learning. We learn about each other, ourselves, and our curriculum. Our "Reach for the Stars" rug will provide us with a space to help us learn and grow. Building relationships in our classroom is important to building a strong classroom family. As our day goes on, we meet many times to talk about our feelings, how to calm our bodies down, ways to solve problems that arise, and lots and lots of learning! Being together as a classroom community and knowing each other first helps us grow as learners As a Reader's Workshop class, we are always partner reading and sharing our thinking about our books. This comfortable space will give us a sense of home for students to meet with their partners. Thank you for your donation to our school family and our home away from home.
