My school is a low income school and we do not have the technological resources that other schools have. Having tablets in the classroom will give my students the opportunity to use technology and expose them to a different form of learning. My students do not have access to technology in the classroom so the tablets would give my students the chance to use various learning applications to strengthen skills that I teach on a daily basis. The apps that I will download on the tablets will help my students practice letter formation, 1:1 correspondence, rhyming, sentence building and phonemic awareness.
