Hello, My name is Madison Lowry and I teach student entrepreneurship, government, and economics at STEM School Chattanooga. I graduated with a bachelors in applied mathematics from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. When my husband separated from the Navy we decided to pack up and move to Chattanooga, TN. I run a program called Inventanooga where seniors are tasked with going through the design thinking process( (empathy, define, ideate, prototype, and test) to create an invention that would solve a real-world problem. They then build a startup business and plan around their invention to pitch to local area entrepreneurs in a large competition.
