My classroom is a technology based class that inspires students to use their creativity and innovate new ideas while exploring introductory engineering classes. Students are encouraged to collaborate to meet the demands in today's technology based work place. 23% of them come from economically disadvantage backgrounds with 25% being "At-Risk." My class consists of students with different learning abilities from Individualized Education Plans to students who are Gifted and Talented. My goal is to empower students to develop essential skills such as problem solving, critical and creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and perseverance.
