All scholars in our building visit my classroom on a weekly basis and without high-quality headphones and microphones they aren't able to fully engage with the technology they've been given. In the early elementary grade-levels we are working on hearing and producing quality alphabet sounds. In the elementary grade levels we are working on hearing and producing fluent reading skills. In the late elementary grade levels, we are working on creating autobiographies, reciting poems and orations and holding conversations with pen pals from all over the world. In the middle school grade levels we are working on learning new languages, creating informational podcasts and communicating with professionals in the engineering field. The headphone/microphone combination will afford our scholars the opportunity to experience and learn from the above mentioned activities that aren't currently feasible with our limited resources.
