For my students, sensory tools are very important for better concentration and attention. When they are provided the right tool, their curiosity and creativity comes naturally. I especially like the reading materials that are tactile and visually stimulating, with this, they become more curious and motivated. Learning becomes FUNctional :) Some of us use eye glasses to function and focus better; while for my students, they need a sensory tool that can help them minimize distraction and maximize their concentration. Through access to these tools, they are also able to practice their social language by requesting the material, and follow expectations that comes with it. The sensory tools and reading materials will definitely help my unique students meet their needs!
