Reading is such a critical skill for third graders today. With all the stress of testing, I want my students to engage in pure reading for fun. My goal is to put amazing, quality books in my students' hands to help grow their love of reading. The books that I have requested are familiar favorites, along with some brand new texts as well. I have chosen both fiction and nonfiction, as I feel it is important for children to be exposed to all types of texts. By donating to this project, you will be helping my 27 third graders to achieve academic success and to become lifelong learners and lovers of books.
