The Chromebooks and licenses to go with them are critical to all of the differentiated instructions needed in my class. I work with the lowest students from each grade level. The intervention that I provide for each one of my students varies from students needing help with phonics, reading fluency, comprehension, mathematics, and/or social studies. Two out of my five classes are students that require an IAIP (Individual Academic Improvement Plan.) Even with careful planning, instruction, as well as rigorous textbooks and scaffolding materials it's often difficult to address specific needs of each student and every student. By donating to this project you will help each and every student get the individual and personalized help they need. This will help them to improve in the specific grade level skills and provide them with engaging and personalized instructions to help them reach success in their academic goals. Students will be able to utilize this technology in the classroom via a personal log in to various education websites and computer programs created to highly improve their academic skills in subjects they struggle with the most. With the Chromebooks my students will have access to district and state vetted programs such as Brainpop, Discovery ed, I Ready Reading, I Ready Math, and Zearn. These websites have rigorous and up to date curriculum learning activities such as lessons, quizzes, and practices that increase their learning in various subjects. Some websites even collect data that their classroom teachers and I can access to help us target each student's personal academic struggles. The Chromebooks would also allow me more time to effectively rotate working in small groups and one on one with students addressing their specific learning needs. My students work so hard please help make their learning easier.
